What it boils down to is that many NFL executives did not want a black quarterback at the helm of their organization. So they pass up on arguably the best quarterback in the league this year and quite possibly a Hall of Famer. It would be disingenuous to say that his blackness did not play a part in him getting picked up sooner. I hope the Ravens go all the way and win the Super Bowl. They deserve every bit of it.
