These looks like pancakes to me. Do you call them crumpets in UK?
They are not like pancakes mate. These are a type of bread really, you make them and bake them andnthen when you want to eat, you just toast them. Delicious with melting butter

I just buy them at the supermarket ;-) but as I'm missing my English food at the moment....
Oh enjoy the streetfood in thailand..I enjoyed them except those that are got and spicy..
