This incredible model of a Ransomes-Rapier Steem Breakdown crane has been causing quite a stir in the modelling world since its introduction by Bachmann earlier this year but not necessarily because of its high quality....

...although the model is absolutely superb, the thing that's got the modelling world buzzing is the price! £249.95 for what's basically an un-powered wagon!

All the reviews from people have received theirs and various model review publications have all agreed at the models superb detail and faithful reproduction of the original which was seen around the British network from their construction from 1940 to 1942 until the final one was withdrawn from service in 1988!

Only 16 were ever built but it will live on in the estimated 3000 Bachmann models that have already been sold.....even at an eye-watering £249.95!!
