Stay Sexually Pure

Hello Fellow Steemians!!!

The bible says,
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery. ‘But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Matthew 5:27-28
New International Version

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
Ephesians 5:3
New International Version

Why is it wrong? Because sex was created by God to act as a bonding agent—a sort of superglue that cements two people closer than anything else can. When we engage in that bonding experience outside of marriage, we’re becoming closer and more intimate with another human than God intended. His gift of sex was intended for marriage and marriage only.
God not only wants to protect you physically (against sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, AIDS), he also wants to protect you emotionally and spiritually. He’s commanding you to say no now so you can have a more fulfilling yes in the future!

There are always consequences when God’s commands are ignored. He has clearly given a bright red stoplight regarding sexual intimacy outside of marriage. Wait until you’ve said your vows and have been pronounced husband and wife to follow the green light.

Pray It!
