Is New England Patriots offense turning a corner heading into playoffs? | Good Morning Football

Love going back and re watching games like this, because there are a lot of little things that get missed. This game has a horrible case of recency bias here, too, what with Dee Ford and the coin toss. What people forget about: On the Chiefs' second go-ahead drive (to go up 28-24), the refs called a terrible hold on JC Jackson after Travis Kelce fumbled. Had there not been a call here, New England is set up to possibly put the game out of reach with 3 minutes left. Later in that drive they miss a blatant OPI on a play that set KC up with an easy TD. While this wouldn't have ended the game, it was still an awful miss by the refs. And I'm not capping for New England here; that roughing the passer on Brady was a horrible call, and Dee Ford is an idiot. However, to say that KC got completely robbed, or that New England got lucky is silly. There were a lot of bad calls/no calls in this game that went against both teams. For every call that would have supposedly won KC the game, there was a call that would have won New England the game. In the end New England just proved to be the better team in what was basically the Super Bowl before the Super Bowl.
