Real Madrid transfer news: Paul Pogba move on hold as Blancos struggle to offload Gareth Bale, James Rdoriguez & Isco | Goal.com - Is Pogba To Madrid Worth It?
Real Madrid are still keen to land Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer, but any deal will hinge on the Merengue off-loading more of their stars to free up funds for the Frenchman.
Well, this still hinges on speculations and there have been no conclusive bids just yet even though it is obvious that Pogba is on Madrid's radar and most especially on Zidane's radar who is 'fellow French-man'.
That being said, there is still alot that will have to play out for talks to even begin, like off-loading players likes Gareth Bale, Isco, James Rodriquez, who despite being high-calibre players aren't garnering interests from the markets.
Real Madrid are certainly going to be adamant about releasing them without generating 'enough to attract Pogba' and 'change'.
Much can't be said just yet but Real Madrid is known for going all-out when they want something and well Pogba has never really come across as a man with a mind of his own and when his mind is in 'two places', he doesn't appear to possess character enough to 'keep delivering at Man United' and i am pretty sure Solskjaer is already spotting this traits.
I won't be surprised if Pogba becomes defiant and begins to act-up like he did in those clash times with Mourinho, to trigger a move.
And will he do well in Madrid? Well, he will certainly carry the gimmick along like 'he is doing something', a certain air that looks like swag but is actually a cover-up for lack of character, things need to really win in football.
When i see Pogba, i see someone like Ayew, who runs around energetically and shoots every shot without actually scoring, so much so that when you look, you can't really tell if he did something but you can't say that he did nothing either.
Pogba certainly has talent but for once he needs to be realistic, shed off some of the accolades and establish where he really is at in terms of his talent-level, so that there is room for growth. He certainly isn't at his peak but i don't see much evolution on-going, till a right balanced coach like 'perhaps Zidane' can pull that out.
Zidane appeared to have a level of success with the likes of Ronaldo but then again, Ronaldo can be a grown man when it comes down to it. Plus, Ronaldo's talent-level is up there.
I still wouldn't trade Isco, James or Bale for 'a Pogba' at this stage.

Pogba an excellent player of Manchester United F.C, no doubt very complete with his movements and intelligence at stake.
It would be a great signing for the selection of Real Madrid, I see no flaws, while now Gareth Bale is absent, pity for his more than 22 injuries, but with Pogba seems to me a good proposal.
In my opinion and point of view, Madrid will do everything possible to close this firm and get the services of pogba and, if it can sell Garet bale easier, it will make it reach the target group because they will have more liquidity
He will move at the last minute as his ego needs the press and fanfare. He will be the one jetting off to Madrid and signing with minutes to spare. Any news is good news for these types of characters and United will be desperate to off load him. He is a talented player with many issues that aren't worth having around.
I think pogba could be a good player for real madrir but his momnte this days doesn't look strong i mean the pogba of juventus is not the pogba of united but maybe in madrid he could meet his soccer. Regards
I think real Madrid is the type of team that needs players with character and also who are not afraid to court controversy. Should Pogba head to Real Madrid under Zidane's Supervision, he will be replacing Ronaldo do doubt.
Pogba cannot be compared to Ronaldo, but he definitely has something to put on the table and right now, he seems to be everyone's favorite. IMO
Real Madrid needs Pogba, only Hazard is not enough to warm the hearts of the fans, the team without Ronaldo has lost a lot, needs great champions, at least 2 other top players
I love the Real Madrid
@Surpassinggoogle... What would you say about lukaku????
pogba is a great soccer player. but his most mature phase he spent at Juventus in the last two years with the Juventus club. He played well in Manchester but expected more from him. I think Real Madrid is evaluating well if it is appropriate to invest in Pogba. I would doubt it...

One of the best in the world on his day, but how many of those days will he have at Old Trafford next season?
To be fair, there are not many players at world class level at the club right now and if I was him, I would want to move also.
