Since 2006, the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) consortium has been working on producing the world's first-ever photographs of the event horizon of a black hole.

I'm gonna be the first one to share this on steemit! I remember the first illustrative image of the blackhole drawn by some guy before - it is far from the image produced recently today by EHT. This is really a marvelous development in science!
