The blocking scheme especially with Higbee pulling across really messes with the gap responsibility of my Niners’ backup linebackers but at the same time we contained the run then adjusted to prevent it. That was more than good enough considering it’s been a brutal szn for us. In short we allowed the Rams to take what they could and the result was never in doubt. It was just a matter of reducing injuries on defense & keeping our best plays off the game film for week 17 & the playoffs.
