New Zealand Day 4B - Craters of the Moon and Honey Hive
Day 4 in New Zealand had us walking on craters and drinking honey beers!
Craters of the Moon
After Huka Falls we headed to the Craters of the Moon. The entry costed us $8.50 and I think that was just cheap.
The stroll would take you about forty minutes to an hour. Longer if you dilly dally.
Upon entering you will notice lots of steam coming out of the ground and how barren it is compared to the lush greenery surrounding it.
There are lots of craters, how it was made I do not know. Maybe North Korea directed their test missiles this way. But really worth the money just exploring and walking the whole entire area.
There are no geysers here but I still recommend it. At the exit is a souvenir store so you can spend some good dollars.
Honey Hive
Honey hive was only five or ten minutes away from the craters of the moon. It's amazing how all the great places to see are all in one massive area. Really convenient for tourists.
You can watch the bees do their thing in their hive behind a clear looking glass. Which was quite interesting for me. Love watching bees work!
They sell lots of stuff in here made of honey. From soap, medicine, wine to beer.
Also they let you taste test some of their products which was great. Try before you buy guys.
That was our day in Taupo, next video is when we traveled to Auckland. See you guys then.
