Au revoir, Montreal - Canada VLOG EP.10
It's time. 15 weeks passed since I arrived in Montreal. A lot happened. People, places, couches, friends. I can not believe that all my memories I created here are actually from just these 15 weeks.
As much as I like it here, there is a whole lot more to explore out there. With my van Harrison set up I can practically go wherever I want. He's not finished yet, but the desire to get out there is far bigger than my perfectionism. I got the basics in already, which allow me to be off grid for a couple of days. Good enough.
Looking back at my time in Montreal, I feel happy and sad at the same time. The people and vibes here are great and I love that there are so many things to discover and experience. Leaving this place behind is a big step, especially because I feel somehow settled. In fact, I did not feel like I'm traveling at all anymore. But that's the point. I need to move again. I want to see new places, waking up my curiosity and widening my perspective. That's what I am actually in Canada for.
At this point I remembered what a good friend of mine said to me pretty often:
"When you have the choice between the certain and the unknown. Go for the unknown."
That's what I'll do now. Packing up and leave, no idea what is awaiting me. I got in contact with some people to meet. Let's see what comes.
But for you Montreal, I'll keep it as written on my Quebecois license plate:
Je me souviens.
I remember.
Au revoir.
