oh ya no he's not making a deal with US. I ASSUME they plan to smuggle him to a different country...I'm more concerned as to the country....
There's only 2....and China is iffy at that he has to do what Snowden did and get to Russia...Snowden left Hawaii for Hong Kong and talked to the Chinese about asylum. Even the Chinese told him stay in the hotel room until other arrangements are made its not safe for him in Hong Kong. That's where they came up with the Russia plan and it worked.

Maybe parts of Africa that is truly considered the 3rd world like Sudan would take him.....but they'd probably use him as a bargaining chip to get weapons from the US for their own wars. There are a few countries with no extradition with the US but the only one who the US doesn't want to step on the toes of is Russia. I'd also say Iran but Iran hates Assange more than the US.
Also Iran is being economically attacked by corporations soooo it's not like stuff is especially wonderful there right now ...=(
