Enjoying the Funky "Itchibuns" with @karensuestudios / 与 @karensuestudios 品尝 "Itchibuns" 美食

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet the amazing Steemian @karensuestudios who happened to be travelling to London all the way from beautiful California.

I showed Karen the famous Piccadilly Circus and Leiscester Square, which are both considered as "the" most iconic places in London. As usual, Central London was very lively at night and always provided so much to see for free. A group of very talented entertainers caught our eye so we decided to check it out at Leicester Square for a good 20 minutes. Both Karen and I thoroughly enjoyed the show as they really knew how to work a crowd. Brilliant performance indeed!

We then walked towards China Town, looking for some food and came across a restaurant called Itchibuns. The place looked quirky and quite different from the outside so we decided to give it a try.

The restaurant was well presented with an fully open kitchen on show. The atmosphere was awesome and very cozy, as well as filled with drawings of Japanese anime. The staff members were really friendly and the food seemed Japanese inspired.

We ordered the chicken karaage, salmon & avocado sushi, udon and sweet potato fries. The portions was a little on the smaller side but the taste was absolutely divine! We were certainly in for a treat. The chicken karaage was my favourite, being both crispy and tasty, coming accompanied with that delicious sauce.

We really enjoyed the fun elements mixed in with the creative environment. The sake was simply good, however a little too strong for my taste, lol.

Karen is such a lovely fun person and we had an enjoyable, long chat about ourselves, Steemit, Steemfest and Dlive among other things. It was such a great feeling to be able to talk to someone about crypto as we are both quite passionate about it!

Time passed very quickly and without realising, it was already 11:40pm! Before we left, we also checked out the downstairs bar section which was a great additional setting to the venue too.

Definitely will be back soon!

I saw Karen off to the tube station and went home too. What an fantastic night I had! For myself, meeting like-minded Steemians is one of the best experiences in regards to the Steemit platform. Such an unreal feeling. I absolutely loved it and look forward to more of the same in the near future!

昨天我有机会和Steemit平台上一位非常棒的成员@karensustudio见面。Karen大老远地从加利福尼亚过来欧洲旅游，伦敦是第一站，呵呵。

我带Karen游伦敦中心。皮卡迪利广场和莱斯特广场可能是伦敦最具代表性的地方。Karen显得非常兴奋，不断地拍照和视频，呵呵。伦敦的夜生活丰富多彩，莱斯特广场也如往常般热闹！我们很快被一群街头艺人的表演吸引住。一个五人男孩组的街头舞蹈尤其出色，成员们个个非常有天分，也特别会搞气氛。我们看了大概20分钟，津津有味地都不舍得离开，哈哈！

莱斯特广场旁边就是中国城，我们决定去那里吃饭。有一家名叫Itchibuns的餐馆看起来很与众不同，我们决定进去试试。

走进餐厅，整个开放式厨房让人一目了然。餐厅墙上和架子上装饰了许多充满日本元素的摆设，蛮有创意的。这里的环境和气氛都让人感觉非常舒适。餐厅服务人员也十分友好，菜单上的食物是“美式快餐+日式料理”，看起来很有特色哦！

我们点了炸鸡肉，三文鱼牛油果寿司卷，天妇罗乌冬面和炸红薯条。份量虽然不大，但味道蛮好的！炸鸡肉是我最爱的，香脆可口，还附带了甜甜的酱汁，超棒！这里的清酒也不错，值得推荐。

Karen很个热情开朗的女孩，整个晚上我们有聊不完的话题，当然聊得最多的还是Steemit 平台以及Steemfest和Dlive等等，呵呵！能够碰到和自己一样对数字货币充满热情的朋友，真是难得！

时间过得很快，转眼间已经是晚上11点40分了。我送Karen去地铁站以后，也坐车回家了。能在steemit上结识志同道合的朋友，是我热爱这个美好平台的原因之一，呵呵！Steem On!!
