RE: Promoting Steem on Facebook, Google, and YouTube After the Ad Ban!
@jerrybanfield I am not sure whether you have covered this in your previous posts or not but it is more important for newbies to stay with the platform for long than merely joining it and leaving it after sometime. People join steemit as they believe that their content will be rewarded but that would only be possible when there is a better distribution of SP among the minnows and dolphins. I have recently seen a statistics which points out that the distribution is spreading from the whales to minnows and dolphins but still a lot of work needs to be done. Whales still control more than 65% of the SP and I believe if it gets down to 50%, it will be a lot better for Steemit on a whole. Also, people need to realize that they need to reward people that actively engages with their content, that will not only boost people's interest in their posts but will also help reward active audience. Lastly, I believe there should a way for a normal person to reward authors, not everyone who reads a particular post is on steemit and there should be a way in which they can also tip the authors if they like a particular post without them being part of the Steemit community.
