Besides shooting myself. If my upload speed is around .72 to 1.2 mbs. are there things I can tweak to make streaming better. All I am trying to stream is old SNES games . droping the rescale output and droping bitrate in obs would help right? It is hard to test because I do not know what other people are actually seeing because if I try to watch myself of course it will drop my speed more. AWESOME video by the way!

thanks man. yeah that upload speed is ROUGH. you will be struggling, you really need like 2 - 4 mbs so you have room to 'breath' -- that is other things that might be happening on the network -- best thing to do is download your streamed video after you have finished streaming to see what it looks like.

That is an awesome idea. Did not know it would record what people was watching not the raw stuff. So you think dropping the bit rate and out going Rez would help. When I down load my last steam and see it acting crazy that is. I think you got me going in the right direction I thank you for your support and speedy reply

you are welcome. live streaming is demanding. if other things are on your network then that can effect the stream, keep an eye on your cpu, are you in the green or the yellow on obs? what equipment are you using? what's your connection like, have you tried pingtest.net as well to see what your 'latency' is like? always reboot your internet connection before streaming, be connected by ethernet instead of wifi. upgrade your router, check the firmware.. . lots of things you can do! :)
