Gravity at the equator = gravity at the poles
Speed of rotation at equator (Maximum) > poles (Minimum)
If earth is really rotating and gravity actually exists, people in the poles would be crushed by it because it's pulling them with the same strength as in the equator while they are not flying away that much.
