We sold them because we were afraid we wouldn't be able to take care of them properly in the winter. Now I miss them. :)

Awww...I understand. We mostly do poultry but we once reared a goat, and I felt sad when it was killed for Christmas. I feel the same way for the broiler chickens too and sometimes I have to be one to slit their throat.
Everytime I feel the sadness of killing something that you raised and watch grow so I really can empathise.
