The Eccentric Dog desired a bottle of wine that they sometimes put on his head. It would have been a fairly odd operation, to everybody you know, but not to the Dog, who had come to the conclusion it would be spectacular. Remarkably, a bottle of wine was the item that was selected.

The Eccentric Dog often carried a pint of beer that they would experiment on. One might find this to be a fairly weird and wonderful thought, to my grandma, but not to the Dog, who thought it would be sublime. Bizarrely, a pint of beer of all things.
