Weekly shots of Nadi

in #dog7 days ago

What better way to spend your day than by taking pictures of your favorite photogenic doggo, Nadi.

I can't do a great many activities at the moment due to injury so I have been digging though old photos as well as taking news one. I have plenty of time to be Nadi's personal photographer these days because if I go out of the house to do anything more than 500 meter walk with Nadi or so, the pain my broken ribs starts to act up and I do not want to deal with that. With my injury being what it is right now as long as I keep my "figure 8 " brace on and don't make tons of sudden movements, I feel almost no pain at all. Of course the tramadol might have something to do with it as well.

Thisone has been voted by me and my ex (whose idea it was to get Nadi) that it is her best picture ever. She was very young and a lot more likely to sit on one place for a time to pose, she was only 1 year old. Now that she is turning 12 in just a few months, there have been thousands of pictures taken of her, mostly by me.

This picture is important to me because it was the first few days that we were living in our new condo in downtown Chiang Mai. It was not a nice condo but it was the best thing I could sort out in the last minute sort of way that i did. It was downtown and overpriced and the furniture such as the ostentatious red and black sofa was just awful. Whatever ! Nadi says, she was really happy to be anywhere with me although most of what I did was to type away at my desk and she would just sit there and look at me, awaiting her next meal.

This one is
her chiling in one of her many beds, this one has quite the view of the city because my latest condo is one of the few in the area that has an unobstructed view of the coastline in both directions. But do you think Nadi appreciates that? hell no. She does like the comfortable temperature controlled bed though, and she can frequently be seen lying there with her oldest pet chicken, named "Bock Bock."

If it gets too hot she will lie directly on the ground and normally near her water dispenser. IT is the pink and yellow thing in the background. You see, even since Nadi was a puppy she has preferred to get her water from something that most people would only use for rabbits or gerbils or guinea pigs. But Nadi was trained to drink like this even as a aged doggo. I think it is endearing and she doesn't like to drink out of regular dog bowls although they are frequently offered to her.

I know that I have posted this before but it is cute enough that I am going to do it again. This is right after a recent bath and on another note, it is proving quite difficult to give her baths when I have very limited use of one of my arms. She is not a difficult animal, but it is very hard to dry a creature when you can barely grip them with one of your arms that is now more of a misshapen claw than anything else.

When I can feel up to walking around I will take her to dinner with me and she gets plenty of attention. Without permission she will never leave her perch and that makes taking her out to dinner so much easier. I don't have to worry about her bothering other customers.

So that's it for now, we traveled down 10, nearly 11 years of Nadi's life. One day I will have to post several thousand pictures of Nadi (j/k). That would take ages and most of the pics I have of her are not good but I can not bring myself to delete any picture of my sweetheart.

If you have a doggo lets' see a picture of your fur-baby as well!
