Venus, the airhead

Winter has arrived around here, and patches of sunlight have become much more sought after by our pets. Venus isn't really a fan of sunbathing, to be honest, but there are days when the cold gets a little harsher and even she gives in to the warmth. I think that, because her fur is black and absorbs more heat, she feels satisfied much faster than our other dog. It's hard to truly compare their longing for a sunny spot.

These photos were taken on an ordinary afternoon while a little nap was in progress. Venus is a very photogenic dog, in my opinion. She isn't nearly as performative as Margot; in fact, she seems to live in a world of her own, always distracted, just minding her own business in her little universe. I often call her "airhead" because that's exactly what comes to mind whenever I look at her lol
