The Red Fox
This red fox (Vulpes vulpes) was photographed in Newfoundland, Canada. We spotted it on the side of the highway so pulled over to take some photos. It was the most curious thing, but was also very cautious of us. Its coat had the most beautiful colouring.
The red fox is native to Newfoundland and Labrador and comes in three colour phases; your typical red fox (approx. 62% of the population), the cross phase (approx. 27% of the population), and the silver phase (approx. 8% of the population).
