The Canine in the Well

On a farm, a mother dog and her puppies resided. There was a well at the farm. The mother dog would always warn her puppies not to approach or play near it.

One of the puppies became curious one day and questioned why they weren't permitted to approach the well. So he made the decision to investigate it.

He descended to the well and scaled the wall to take a look inside. He noticed his reflection in the water of the well but mistook it for another dog. The young dog chose to battle his reflection since it was making him mad when it was imitating him.

When the young dog leaped into the well, it was empty. He started to till the farmer arrived to save him, he barked nonstop. The puppy had discovered his mistake and had avoided the well ever since.
