Buying My Way Into Dolphinhood

Great news. I powered up another 78 STEEM. According to Steem Block Explorer I know have 6,170 STEEM POWER which is equal to 10,041,542 vests.

I bought my account into dolphincy!

SteemBlockExplorer indicates that my upvote is worth roughly $0.022. My upvote is worth the minimum payment amount.

Looking at my wallet: At $0.084, 6,170 SP is worth $518.

My Strategy to SteemIt

I believe that the best approach to SteemIt is to wait for a dip and buy enough SP so that one's upvote is worth over two pennies.

After powering up, one should start powering down curation rewards.

I am really hoping that STEEM is suffering a dip and is not on yet another shelf in a downward spiral. I might do some cost averaging to keep my vote value over two pennies. If STEEM dropped further; then we will be in a negative situation where dolphins could no longer sweep dust.

Power Up Author Rewards

You may have noticed that I power up 100% of my author rewards. My thought is that the best way to support steemit is for authors to power up their author rewards ... but to power down curation rewards.

I welcome thoughts on this strategy.
