Valve is always trying to improve the quality of the game DOTA 2 from the beginning of its release a few years ago. Various steps they try to be able to make the game a better atmosphere, like membek the Hackers, track the MMR Jockey and many others. Any player found guilty of violating a rule will get a stratified penalty according to what they violate.

One DOTA 2 player with a Reddit account named MrTinfoilman recounted his current condition which was exposed to Ban from Valve for 4 days. The player with the 6K MMR is quite upset with his Toxic and Feeding teams, this makes him opt for AFK. He bought Shadow Amulet and tried to hide, then he AFK to continue eating.

Unexpectedly, Valve gave her a pretty severe penalty. Namely Ban for 4 Days from any game, whether it is the Strip or Unranked and in any fashion. He now can only wait until the time Ban is given to him ends, and can only play with Bot just to fill his time.

This type of punishment is new to the DOTA 2 community, maybe this is the first time Valve has given this kind of punishment. Valve previously only gave Low Priority Que for players who are considered to violate some regulations that are considered disrupt the atmosphere of the game. But it may still be quite ineffective by some, and Valve is trying to increase his punishment.

With this increase in punishment, Valve may hope that more players will deter from doing bad things like AFK or Toxic or possibly others. But on the other hand, it still needs a lot of consideration considering sometimes we can still be subject to punishment due to fictitious reports from some players.

If you think, how about this new type of punishment? Let's discuss the comment below!

Interesting to see! It really is bloody annoying when someone let's you down so in a way I'm glad but at the same time it's impossible sometimes to not do it yourself!
