Yeah you're right. Lavender comes up a lot more--probs cos it's also a plant--but lilac is a pretty word. My favourite colour word is chartreuse (although I don't actually love the colour).
I have to google that one, the name is so foreign to me. And you're right, the colour is ... not so good lol. Though as a liqueur, it is gorgeous o_O.
