Josef Platzer ( 1751 - 1806 ) was an Austrian architect , painter and draftsman. Platzer studied in Prague with Franz Wolf and in Vienna with various artists architectural drawing and painting of theater decorations. In 1789 he became a full member of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and 1795 was nominated imperial court chamber painter.
