I want to read your comic book idea on this topic. I am thinking the machines that turn in us first will be all the Internet of Things devices out there. There have already been stories of google home units and Alexa units turning on people. Maybe it will be our self aware refrigerators and washing machines. A self aware refrigerator could contaminate food by keeping the temperature in the unsafe zone. Or maybe our increasingly computer controlled automobiles. An interesting topic!
