House of the Snow Queen
I wanted to paint something fabulous. For some reason, she chose the Castle of the Snow Queen.
I decided that I would try to draw with colors. All the same, drawing with pencils takes a lot of time, paints faster.
As a result, I used watercolors, gouache, and watercolor pencils.
First I sketched a pencil. Would you know how many times I washed it, maybe 20 times. As a result, I stopped at the version of the castle on the rock.
Painted first watercolor.
Then in the course went white gouache. And with pencils I worked out the contours of the castle, the gate and emphasized the northern lights.
I wanted to make falling snowflakes first with small tassels, then I remembered how one of the participants splashed paint from a brush. Decided to do the same. I made .... my dear mother, the whole table, the keyboard, everything splashed) Good gouache is easily washed with a wet cloth.
That's what happened in the end.
