She looks a bit like my grandmother. She would wear her hair up in a bun that was almost as big as her head. She would wash it in the sink and it took hours. I only saw it down once in my life.

Hehhee she is called grandma quite often by her friends, so I can totally understand why looking at her would remind you of your granny XD.
Take hours eh? O_O That is totally high maintenance. My respect for these people who have crazy long hairs just go higher.
