Daily sketch - Goblin design

in #drawing8 years ago

Hello Steemians!

I was trying to develop and design some goblins so that I'm able to draw it simply and quickly. I've tried some different ways of coloring and finishing them up too (I didn't want to use black outlines but I think I'll do that for now if I need to finish them traditionally). I've managed to get to the point where I'm confident and happy with how they look. I've tried to use my pens differently and I've learned one neat trick. I'm happy with that.

These goblins are simple enough so that I can draw them quickly and easily but are detailed enough so that they look cool even without coloring. That will be good enough for my soon to be D&D campaign. I have a big list which involves: wolves, wargs, horses, ponies, dogs, orcs, ogres, human adventurers, dwarves and many more.

I got to this idea as I'm without a clue what to do. The thing is that I'm waiting to get some news about my new potential job and I'm sort of excited, annoyed, nervous and relaxed at the same time. My chaotic mind is busy racing and coming up with all sort of thoughts. It's a messy chaos within my mind and I felt the need to focus it and do something useful.

Here is the pencil rough sketch:

In the next coming weeks I'll start doing digital art more and more. This is a good scan with base idea which I got. The pencil lines are clear and I can make a nice digital version of those goblins. I must admit that I'm a bit scared of that process. I have so much to learn and it's something I have no idea how to do good so I worry a little. I will need a lot of practice. :)

Have fun all and keep steemin!
