Drones that are Multi Functional
Drone is an unmanned vehicle that is in the air, or with an airplane without a pilot. The definition of drone can be applied in both air, land and sea, following the trend of the era.
Drone is "Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), is a flying machine that operates with remote control by the pilot or is able to control itself, using aerodynamic laws to lift itself, reusable and capable of carrying cargo both weapons and other cargo" Wikipedia.org
In operation can be done by remote control with a certain frequency and controlled by the operator, can also be controlled automatically in the drone system itself by using a set of advanced computer technology. in the Year 2015 estimated 1 million drones have been sold for commercial activities.
The idea of a pilotless plane has actually evolved prior to World War I since the 19th century. A paper from Center for Telecommunications and Information Engineering (CTIE) Monash University as a reference to Wikipedia mentions that the ideas and concepts of the first drone on August 22, 1849 Austria, which at the time was in control of much of Italy, launched about 200 unmanned bombs of unmanned aerial bombs to Venice. There is information that says if the balloon is fitted with an electric fuse that can be smeared with a signal through copper wires around the balloon.
Nicolas Tesla, an American inventor of Serbian poetry, patented a discovery of a remote control or remote control on November 8, 1898. Then made a ship and balloon that can be controlled by remote control from a distance.
In 1916, an Englishman named Archibald Low had managed to fly an unmanned vehicle with a radio control. This autopilot plane was planned to carry out a counterattack against German Zappelin aircraft and also carried out ground attacks during World War I. But this effort failed, because the sound of drone machines made of wood and tin is obstructing radio control performance.
After Sopwith Aircraft Company droned the plane by placing the radio device in the tail with the intention of not disturbing the radio signal, Archibald Low returned with his experiments in 1917. He flew his drones in front of military officers. Unfortunately, the drone almost killed the high-ranking military officer after flying for a while and eventually suffered a machine failure.
Drone use has expanded to personal use. From the beginning for military and spy purposes.
