Hate Week by Ed Privat (@darqub production)

This is another collaboration from @edprivat and @darqub !
The production was made by Arash a.k.a @darqub, and I've written the lyrics and recorded the vocals.
We decided not to put a bass on it as the song is very full.
The original title of the song was "Freedom", so I decided to stay in same theme and I wrote a song about the Police state, and the dystopian reality described by George Orwell in his book 1984.
Why I titled the song Hate Week
Hate Week is a psychological operation in a form of an event happening in the novel 1984

They can rewrite the verse, and then the whole chorus
*What I mean by they is "THE POWER THAT BE"
Detains the truth that lies in the pages of HISTORY

Oh this is beautiful! I wonder how it would've sounded with bass, why did you decide to not use bass?
Well the cool thing is that we can always release a version with the bass later on down the line, I didn't have lots of time to mix.
Anyway we thought it was full enough without a bass, and we would have lost some of the medium and low frequencies of the original production.
Yeah it sounds great as it is without the bass, I'm no expert but I think it would be great with the bass as well

Its got that 1984 feel, very different from many of the tracks of yours I've listened to. You turn your hand to most any genre. Nice hook 'we just wanna feel safe tonight' even a little rap in here. Very impressive.
All props to @darqub that did the production, he is my own "Derek" if I can say it like that, we worked on our second song together and it just clicks you know what I mean . And we never met that's what's crazy
