I'm going bananas trying to record again... The garage (inside a vehicle) might work as a recording environment if it weren't for the noisy fridge. Maybe the trick is to record at 2 am when the temps have dropped and the fridge doesn't have to run so much... :-/
Real world recording is a hard task without a sound room! I have built a recording fort before by putting chairs together and putting blankets over it. I guess it was more of a recording sauna!
