This time we have to release the soul of Maverick Zero, a faithful companion of Megaman X in previous games, who is possessed by the WAR power that comes from an unknown world.

The story of WAR-Maverick Zero began in the last game "Megaman X5" when we had to sacrifice Zero in a secret mission, leaving him alone on the planet WAR so that he could control the energy.
