Somber Reflection
This piece is one that I started a while back. To be honest, it was written on a rather bad day, one where everything seemed to be going wrong on top of some emotional difficulties. As I went to a practice room to be alone, I began playing at the piano and found these slow chords that managed to capture that emotion.

As this year goes on, I'll be working some more on shorter orchestral pieces like this in addition to the chamber music I'm writing and the piano covers.
