RE: Don't Think Twice It's Alright
You've done a good job here @tombalistreri. From your cover, the way I take this song after closely listening several times is that Bob Dylan is singing about a dying love that he feels there is no reconnection possible. The woman he sings about doesn't know who she is and doesn't mean to string him a long but she does because he is her habit and he is her comfort. She does love him, but she is not in love with him and the man is left feeling sad and lonely because the love is not what it was meant to be. His love is pure and honest and true and she keeps hurting him with her lies and manipulation.
