Troubles with DTube?
Just for giggles try a open source decentralized tool I'm featuring on my site called IPFessay to upload the video to IPFS yourself. Then just post the link to your Steem with the tag #dtube

No rewards skimming.
I'm not sure does Dtube still skim rewards?

You sign into dtube with your Steemit posting key.
To answer your question, DTube does skim rewards. All of the platforms get to do that, hence the growing numb r of platforms.

I'm sorry I don't really know. But others are also having trouble at the moment you are not the only one. You can still use the approach from this post to upload videos to steem and the Dtube category.
