I need to get on Dtube, now is the time...september is my time to start posting and Vloging ...I think Dtube is the best option for me at the moment. I procastinated to figured it out...I agree, is an amazing new tool for Steem and the blockchain community in general. Nice to know that there will be two types of content from you in Dtube and Youtube...keep it up bro!
I think DTube is very promising, but for some reason many DTube videos (including this one) don't always play right through for me despite me having a decent Internet connection. I'm in the UK, so probably currently further from the IPFS nodes.
Also, because DTube doesn't have adaptive streaming, it works best for people with slower connections if the uploaded videos are lower quality (bitrate) than usual, although maybe not for audio content ;)
I agree I love how the block chain itself helps people connect with one another , this is the best part well one of the best things about it . Because it's not everyday you meet people that share connections
So does Dtube allow you to keep collecting payouts, or is it also subject to eh 7 day payout period? remember when Steemit used to have a 7day & a secondary payout.. I think it was 30 days...
That's helpful to know! Yeah, I'll definitely keep going on YouTube! But it nice to have Dtube as a place I can post more casual stuff for Steemians with alienating my youtube subscribers lol
It is a little scary to put yourself out there but a lot of the time worth it. If I don't put some of myself into my content it just feels like more work. -__- I don't want more work. It is good to have a home away from the work.

Thanks! Yeah, Dtube is a great place to start vlogging if you're just staring out... probably actually get more exposer than youtube to begin with.

Yeah, Dtube is a monster project! I think it's on the right track... it's just going to need a big team and a lot of funding IMO

How to sign up to DTube
Just use your private posting key found in your Steemit wallet... don't use your main steemit password
