wow sir johannpiber that is remarkable! Over here the kids start out with 50 to $100,000 in college debt most of the time.
That's a lot of money, @janton, and they will have to work for a lot of years to get out of debt.
yes sir, it's a horrible way to start out life I think. Then most of them can't find a good job so they move back in with their parents. But most places with good paying jobs demand a college degree as a requirment and I think they're wrong for doing that.
Many kids here are in dept too, @janton, but not because the school costs so much, but because they think they have to drive an expensive new car right after getting their drivers license.
School should be free and this is one thing our state and I think all european states are doing right. Of course there are private schools and special schools that cost money, and the University costs some money too, but we have "normal" prices I would say.
