w002-Interior Features of Daihatsu WAKE!

Hi, Today I am gonna show you the internal design of my new car, Daihatsu WAKE.

Actually, I bought this car because it has so much space and storage spot inside.
Let’s see them.

Firstly, there are storage spaces here and there like this, they are not only for the spaces of glasses, books, and Kleenex whatever, but also the ones of plastic bottles.

Here, I have a question for you.
Can you guess where another storage space exists in this passenger seat?
I’ll show you. See?

Secondly, I especially wanna show you this wide view while driving. Front glass is also big, and more importantly, look at this dashboard. Yeah, it’s really flat, and it makes you feel good outlook in driving. I haven’t tried car camping here yet, but I am thinking that this spot might be useful for storage to stay during the night.

Next, let’s move on to the rear seat. I’ve realized that there are some features of WAKE on the rear seat.

First of all, look at this! It’s screen door. It is not for blocking invasion of insect, but it’s good enough for the sunshade. Does foreign car window also have one of these?

In the second place, I want you to notice that there exist long space to stretch your feet while you are on the rear seat.
Literally, Kei car means compact car, but it has really so much space and makes you feel more comfortable.

Full lenth: 3,395mm
Full width:1,475mm
Full height: 1,835mm

Besides that, both slide doors move back and forth automatically. It is really convenient on especially rainy day so your family can jump into it.

If I had to point out one downside of the rear seat of WAKE, it would be window’s open.
Regrettably, it opens only to the half of the full length due to the structural problem.

Other than that, there are several LED lights that keep the inside bright at night.
However, I’ve got an idea. Keeping these lights on during car camping is gonna lose the battery. So I am considering putting another lights on ceiling which get connected to another battery system. I will attach these the devices little by little, and show the process through uploading video someday.

I hope you guys enjoy today’s video.
Thanks for watching. See you next time.
