Optimizing Your DTube Videos AFTER Uploading #DTubeBasics

I'm going to start giving small tips on making your videos/posts/crypto steemlife a lot better.
Please let me know if you enjoy these types of videos and if you want to know more about a certain aspect of Steemit or DTube.
Tips for Optimizing after Uploading:
- Leave your Seeding page up when uploading
- Add your 5th tag in your steemit post (it deletes it for some reason)
- Add Your Full sized Thumbnail After Posting your DTube video
- Add photos simply by dragging and dropping into your steemit post

You’re my hero Kevin, the thumbnail issue has been bugging me for ages! Hooray!
As for the 4 tags, the @dtube tag gets added to the video by default so you don’t actually need to type that one in during the upload, as itll be put in automatically. So just put the 4 other tags you want to use in like normal and Dtube will always be the first main tag as soon as you upload, regardless of whether you type it in the tag box or not.

Nice tips. Why add the thumbnail after uploading the video itself?
Thanks mate! For some reason with the new DTube update, the thumbnail becomes blurry (can't helpw ith that on Dtube) and also a small size. So to make it the original size again, we have to change it on Steemit.
Ok nice. Yeah I uploaded some drone footage to d tube the other day and the thumbnail was like 30% of the original size.. so the key is to upload and then add in the thumbnail link back in Steemit as an edit?
Yeah but it won't still make it clearer on Dtube. Only for the steemit post.
I'm pretty sure Dtube will fix it next update, a lot of people have been complaining about it

It's awesome to know you can just drop and drag images in to replace the thumbnail. I was going through the process of uploading them to imgsafe.org and then copying that link in to get the full size picture.

Quick tip though, just add the 4 tags you planned on using initially and Dtube will add the 5th (dtube) automatically.

Do you how to get around the dreaded "cannot submit to blockchain" when uploading to dtube?? I tried many times, many browsers, many different ways. Same results. I want to get my first video up! haha...I tried searching for a fix, not finding much.
If nothing is working, it's really got to do with the time you're uploading. Less people uploading, less noise and you can upload it properly
