I've never been to Italy, but I've been to Greece and Portugal. I recall that in Greece they called cicadas chichika. =) Was the water from the fountain drinking quality?
Not 100% drinkable, but my sister said it was ok to sip it until we would get the good ones from market, it was 38° that day 😁
