This is what happened to me. I left Steemit for many many months because I couldn't even upvote anyone or comment, & I had NO IDEA WHY.

And I certainly wasn't going to spend money I didn't have on a site I knew almost nothing about.

I won't even go into what happened to me when I tried to sign up twice & was rejected even though I thought I had signed up properly.

I spent a TON of time trying to get onto Steemit. Way more than I should have had to, & I'm not the only one who went through this.

Back to once I was finally signed up... WTH, why do I need to spend money?

At one point I couldn't even post my own articles.

And get this, just last week I couldn't comment or upvote AGAIN & my SP has gone up a lot since I came back.

I'm not a math person, so I don't even understand WHY this happens.

If I haven't upvoted in weeks, why am I losing the right to upvote or comment?

Since I know people make money (maybe they don't make money from me, as I see I don't have enough SP for people to make even 1 penny off of me which SUCKS) off of my upvotes, I don't upvote willy nilly like I do on FB.

So I thought saving my upvotes for something I really admire saves the juice, but I guess it DOESN'T : (

Maybe someone can keep explaining it to me so I can finally absorb the info into my brain LOL

Remember, math isn't my strong suit.

I also thought that my upvotes were 100% allocated towards SP b/c they got rid of the SD, but the last time I went into my settings it was once again set to 50/50. sigh

I had changed it to 100% about 3 weeks ago.
