How I Protect My Crypto Profits When the Market Decides to Go Cliff Jumping (Without moving to fiat!)
We all know that crypto is one of the craziest, most volatile markets that has ever existed. Today was just another day in cryptoland, but for those new to the scene these huge drops can make it hard to keep a strong hand. No one wants to feel helpless and watch those hard earned profits disappear.
So what do you do when your coins have mooned and are about to come back to Earth a bit? There are a few options, but in this video I'll share with you how I take my profits off the table when I feel a correction is due so that I'm ready to jump back in when I see things back at a level that's attractive. The key is, I don't want to move into fiat, I want to stay in crypto. Here's how I do it.
This is really helpful. Being able to hedge some of your profits without paying fees or transferring to fiat is “the dream”. Cool that you found a way to do it.
Great Video!
really interesting
Great video - a new concept for me to consider hedging with as I often hold up, hold down, and hold up again... Safe, but leaving a ton of money on the table for a few mouse clicks at smart points. I'm so far behind on BTS. So many people spreading good info for it, but something just doesn't click with me yet. I think I need to remake a wallet via Rudex since the one I made through Openledger I believe wasn't the right setup.
It's definitely worth taking the time to get familiarized with bitshares. It's a really incredible platform and doesn't take to long to get acquainted with. Being able to collateralize your assets for no cost and being able to take advantage of the smart coins on the system is a game changer. The liquidity problem will go away as people start realizing the features offered.
I actually hodl about 90% of my portfolio and trade in and out of coins with about 10% and just keep adding to the stack.
