Rob The Ranger: Hippo, Buffalo, Crocodiles, Birdlife, and More! - Kazinga Channel Uganda

in #dtube5 years ago

I went on a boat safari along the Kazinga channel that links Lake Edward with Lake George in Uganda, the channel is the central feature of the Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Lake Edward, Rutanzige or Edward Nyanza is the smallest of the African Great Lakes. It is located in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift, on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Uganda, with its northern shore a few kilometres south of the equator.
~ Read more about Lake Edward on wiki over here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Edward

Hippos, buffalo and crocs are all along the banks along with other wildlife and abundant birdlife. A small fishing village is also situated on the banks and pre-dates the establishment of the park.

East African Jungle Safaris provide tours to Queen Elizabeth National Park catering to a variety of budgets, contact them here: https://eastafricanjunglesafaris.com/

Filmed in 4K UHD resolution using the Sony AX100 video camera.

Africa is a really special place, yes. We who live here sometimes forget how lucky we are to have such easy access to these safaris.

Thank you for visiting my blog and thanks for watching the video.

Hey,

I notice your profile and really like your content. I would like to invite you to @APPICS as one of the first APPICS app testers!
APPICS is a new blockchain based social media application launching in Q2 this year. Similar to Steemit, users can earn cryptocurrency tokens for posting creative content, but different to Steemit, APPICS will be focusing on photos or videos instead of blogposts. With the APPICS app we give users the power to monetize time and creativity they spend on social media.

The app is currently in beta mode, running on the STEEM blockchain, so you can easily log in with your username and your private posting key as your password.

If you´re interested in joining APPICS, please send us an email at join@appics.com

Feel free to visit our website Appics.com for further information.

I‘m looking forward to hear from you!

Best wishes,

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

I go have a look... thank you for the heads up!

It's weird that I'm an African and I don't even know about all these safaris, looks like an awesome place to be and I'm sure it was a great experience for you.

A lot of Africans don't do enough African travel. A lot of us think we need to fly over to Europe or Americas for a "travel experience" when there is SO much to do right here on our own continent... and it's cheaper too!

This is so correct

I live in Africa as well and going on safari is the most relaxing time I have every year. I think you are exceptionally lucky doing what you are doing and look forward to more updates.

It really is!
Thanks for visiting my blog, and thanks for watching! Lots more to come... so stay tuned :-)

East Africa has amazing wildlife. Unfortunately locals don't patronize that much

Yeah, like I just told @peachyladiva ... more Africans should do more African holidays. We don't always have to go "overseas".

Greetings from uganda
