Recycling is a farce - composting not so much.

Sometimes you can take things to recycling centers, where the machine sorts them for you... then what?

Thanks for the reminder to reduce, reduce, reduce.

Awareness about the deceptions in recycling, and that recycling is the LAST option, really matters. The FIRST and BEST option is to reduce. Just stop buying that crap! Better still, as a manufacturer of products be responsible to make only good things that contribute to the world. Thanks for the heads up.

@ecoTrain

Really most of it is crap. Spend a little more and buy something that will last or can hold its own value. It's financially more responsible too. Thanks for sharing it to @gogreenbuddy I hadn't heard of that account before!

My pleasure. 😊

Thank you for bringing attention to this important matter. Minimalism is the way to go. Everyone go talk to your representatives about preserving this planet of ours!

It is very important to spread the message of reducing our waste and consumption. Not enough people realize that we cannot depend on recycling to solve our plastic problem. @jalentakesphotos is right, minimalism is the way to go!

dtube never loads for me. but oh well..
a lot of nuclear waste goes to north korea.
exporting garbage has always been a thing tho. especially in places where human lives cost less than the waste.
it's tragic but at the same time difficult to fight the incentive to get rid of shit quickly. until it destroys the planet ofc 😶

I also upload all my videos to my Youtube channel! Sometimes DTube doesn't work for me either. I think a decent amount of people know about exporting garbage but a lot of them don't realize that the same is happening with recycling plastic.
