Looking at Github I can see some tasks for hf20 are done, but it's not obvious how long the rest will take. It seems this essential for steemit to move to the next level. We need millions of users here

for sure, i think the amount of addon platforms that are using the steem platform will really propel this platform forward too, i'm expecially loving @steemhunt at the moment, love those guys and the effort they are putting into their platform. designing and developing it properly!
All the apps need the infrastructure to handle millions of accounts. Steemit can't keep delegating to them, so they need new options.
sure, understand that. as things scale up, it's always gonna be an ever evolving thing. as a content, tutorial creator it's kinda exciting for me because this is the way i've always wanted to work.
