Hi I'm new

My name is Steve McGuire and I am new to Steemit and Dtube. I am trying to figure out how this all works. Can someone explain it a little bit about the comment section in Dtube please? I tried to leave a comment on someones Dtube video a bit ago and it wouldn't post. I dont know if it is something that I am doing or a glitch in the system.
