Those birds are beautiful. I had a clear plastic nest box that attached to my window a few years ago and we watched a mated pair of finches as they prepared their nest and raised 4 little finches. It was so much fun watching the hatchlings as they grew. Eventually all the birds left the nest. My cats loved the spectacle right outside their favorite window!
That sounds great it’s a shame you’ve got no pictures, do you remember what kind of finches they were. Cheers mike
I don't know what kind of finches they were but one of them was bright red. I guess it was the male. The other one was a lighter color red. I wish I had thought to take pictures. It was about 7 or 8 years ago and I don't have that nesting box anymore.
