RE: "Vote for Pedro" - first #steemgigs video editing contribution
Ok honesty hour.
I have used 5.75 SBD on steemfollower.com to promote this post. What do you guys think?

I use steemfollower - just started. I did not know about paying, but it sure got you a volume of votes. I need to find a way to tell all the minnows in there to keep their power up! I get a lot of votes, but at such low power and percent that it helps no one.
5.75 sbd times current price of about $9 usd - too much for this result, I think. Someone smart probably has the exact math on this. If it was me, I would check the payout and figure it out.
I was using minnow booster for a while. I was just putting a small amount on the 6th day for one post a day. It made me feel better to get the higher payout and it rewarded people who voted for me a bit. But I stopped when my payouts got better. In general, I think it is better to get people to follow you organically, but that's the trick we are all trying for :)
Thanks again for the video - I love it and I'm about to start using it and will make a post about you soon :)
I was the one that gave him the sbd to try it out. He's earned it back though - from this post alone he should receive 6sbd :)
Thanks again @raymondspeaks
Told ya an interesting discussion would develop...and isn't that worth more than any money? Dun dun duuuuun.
Hmm... I will have to look into this then. I'm all about this flying money right now. I'm in shock 24/7 at the moment since I have been broke since about 2008 :)
Power up is the way too go at least for the first year!!! That’s what I did one by one! Little by little. Later you can start investing in Various coins
Were you buying or leasing your sp?
I am not buying anything. I wrote hundreds of articles since June 2016.
I buy other coins with my liquid Steem occasionally. My favourite coin to hold is still Steem. Therefore I power up most of the time to support our platform and Community. Cashing out is not my choice for now.
I'll leave this here for you..

maybe very good news...?
upvoting bots are a ponzi or con - imo (have you seen the latest bernie sanders battles/ randowhale?-ouch! thousands of dollars involved here..! )
And then zeartful taking off with all the money, and then leaving people mega bucks out of pocket...(ie a ponzi - gain confidence, build rep, pull scam)
Just my opinion
( I used to use minnow booster- never had any probs)
I am 100% with you on voting bid bots and don't use them. I am not a gambler in any regard. All I know is that I would not be winning if I tried them.
I do use steemfollwer now though and will soon post about it. I think when you pay to it - it only means your post rises to the top of what people can vote for. I have never done it though.
I have been watching the battle of bernie vs haejin this week and I have mixed feelings. I can see both points of view. And it all depends upon haejin's big upvoter.
Who is that and why is that person willing to vote such big bucks for only one account many times a day?
I was not following the zeartful thing too closely, but it is a one off for that person and a big effort to repeat.
Thank you for the tip on gdax. I heard that one before as a good alternative and now will look further.
really? - cool.... hopefully.....
I think us minnows are picking (happily picking, I might add) the scraps, and to gain any size will be nigh impossible.
(I don't mean for earnings, 'we' can do very nicely, ty!.)
The big battles..?best to observe from afar, is probably the wisest policy on that...
happy christmas !
I have quite a few friends I started with in June who are getting much more than scraps right now :)
Merry Christmas to you as well :)
really?- I am so happy at being badly wrong then! woooohoo!
I think success on this platform depends on several factors @fitinfun, @raymondspeaks and @lucylin.
Quality of Post/Contribution - in terms of depths, skilfulness, difficulty, presentation.
Consistency of Posts - Once a week kinda dude or every day? I think at least once a day especially in the 25-60 range. Gotta keep the people interested.
Level of Community Interaction - Do you only comment on steemit native posts? Engage in dicussions or just write "nice one"?. Involvement in discord servers and community event is a plus methinks. Don't overdo it though, spreading yourself too thin is a real danger.
Willingness to Grind - Do you get discouraged if you are not rewarded after a short amount of time or are you willing to dig through the dirt for an unspecified amount of time to find a diamond? Gamers are at an advantage here.
Technical Boons - Using plugins, extensions, apps, stats and bots to augment and monitor your steemit activities? I think there is a huge difference in user proliferation here.
Luck - You never know who might see your contributions.
These are just a few of course but I digress.
Whaddya think?
Das hat offensichtlich geklappt
