DTube Snap#5: Just Keep Swimming
Hello Hello Dtube & Steemit Friends,
This is my swimmer son who is in competitive swimming. He is on a training routine that has us waking up tooooo early. Right now, he is unable to make all 8 sessions a week, because of school but who knows in the future.
He first learnt to swim when he was 8 years old. And he made the squad a couple of years later and has been slowing working his way up. He is now getting ready for a Swim Meet end November.
DTube Snap is a @nathanmars initiative to help and encourage us to create videos, curate and engage everyday. It's as easy as recording your 1 minute video on your mobile and then uploading. Editing not required. So come share a snippet of you and your life; would love to get to know you :D

I wish i learn how to swim. Now that im grown up im a little bit afraid of water. 😢😢 by the way swimming is a good form of exercise.

I hope your son achieve his goals @kaerpediem. We must all find what we love and live by that.I am sure he is training hard and that he will achieve his goals :D
I always tell him he better justify all that driving and waiting hahaha
But yes, he has stuck by it and kudos to him
Through my scolding and his coaches' scoldings when he doesn't perform or he gets too playful (he is still a kid after all)
His final answer is still, *Yes, I want to continue in competitive swimming"
So as long as he is up for it, I am up for it and I will continue to support him....but these 4 am mornings.... gahhhhh

Finally got to watch it! You look so beautiful mama!! Good luck on your son’s competition?? Or training??? Didn’t realize catch that part.. anyway, I love to swim too. Back in the Philippines it’s so easy to find a nearest pool to go, and I would take a dip and swim right on top the bottom floor. It’s really a good feeling to get to swim, it relaxes you!!! How i miss it!!! Anyway thank you for sharing!!! Love this snap with your son!!!

Where I live now is like 1 1/2 hour driving to the nearest beach and pool. There’s one nearby it’s a water park but the water is like a flood only hahaha you can’t even float in the pool. It’s good for the kids tho! Goodluck to your son!! Goodnight 💤
